AuctionWiser's Analysis Card condenses and aggregates all of the information you need to know into one place. Summary information is itemized in a table, along with picture and full item description. This tab is open to all users with a free account.
AuctionWiser's Bid Analysis tab allows you to quickly determine and inspect which bidders are responsible for the action. Did some bidders give up days ago? Are new bidders placing proxy bids?
AuctionWiser's Comparison Analysis tab does all of the data science comparisons for you! The data is neatly and interactively displayed for you to compare items on price and other relevant features.
AuctionWiser's granular tracking allows us to create and produce a good estimate of the hidden reserve price. These values reflect the data that we have captured and should only be relied upon as an estimate of the reserve price, and does not reflect the exact reserve price set by the GSA.

Government surplus auctions provide the general public access to bid on federal (or state) assets. These items are usually no longer under use by the government agency. There are often unique items that appear in federal auctions due to either unclaimed property or federal seizure of assets (criminal or by tax and or IRS authorities). The seized items are auctioned and sold to the highest bidders. Auctionwiser focuses on the auctions made available by the General Services Administration (GSA), which is a federal agency. What is the GSA?
Our auction data and API uses the data made available by the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Auction site and inventory. The current database includes past auctions (through 2018) and current federal GSA auctions.
No. We are not affiliated with the General Services Administration (GSA). We are a private entity who seeks to deliver state of the art data services and insights for GSA auctions, both live and historical.
The API is live updating for any auction that is currently open; and static for auctions that have closed (no details are changing).
No. AuctionWiser does not offer the ability to directly bid on federal or state auctions.
The bid history of every auction is captured and stored by our service at a granularity unavailable elsewhere. The bid history could be used to inform models, fraud detection, and predictive analytics. The data can be seen on our individual item cards and via our API.
Currently we have over 95,000+ closed auctions and roughly 800+ auctions that are "live" at any given time. Our database grows daily and is constantly updated as new items come available or auctions close.
